another thing. since times are really bad here, if everyone refuses to pay for any summons or fines and choose to check into changi. it seem to be a more logical way under the present economic woes.

2 down, 16 more to go. including uncle yap the uninvolved bystander, it would be 17.even if uy claimed he wasn't involved, they still could charge him for "obstruction of the law".

Dear Singapore Democrats,
You might wish to know that the police insisted on putting handcuffs on me while I was on the way to pay my $600 fine! LOL!Don't spill your food/drinks yet. I tried explaining to those very polite (YES, they were very, very polite to me!) officers that:
1. I was not on any bail.
2. I was not a violent criminal (gosh!)
3. I had already indicated my willingness to be under armed and heavy escort to pay my fine, that I would pay the fine in CASH immediately, yeah, the full $600 of it WHICH WIPES OUT ALL THE GROWTH DIVIDENDS AND GST CREDITS I GOT THIS YEAR! *Cry* *Sob* Booo hooo!
And yet, they still insisted on the handcuffs, saying it was PROCEDURE! LOL!
It seems that they cannot get me for anything else, they want to get me on just the last few minutes that I am with them! Even the last few minutes also want to be so petty and vindictive towards me! What procedure?!?!? If it was really procedure, why did the police officer get a phone call INSTRUCTING HIM that it was procedure? If it was procedure, wouldn't he know right from the start??!?! Why did someone have to call him to TELL HIM it was procedure??!!?

it's standard that they had to handcuff u. if u didn't have enough dole, they would guide u and chuck u in the basement lockup jail. don't forget MAS SELAMAT and ejay were about the same height.
